My team and I been using sequences a lot for the past months and I have made observations to improve the functionality of sequences. You can then report back using list membership. Currently, contacts can only be enrolled in one Sequence at a time. So for us, this would be at Step 3, but there is no way to re-start a sequence, which might be a good point for HubSpot to consider.
